Lili and Julie are great guides for treks at mountains. The new bungalow we stayed in was very cozy and views from the terrace are stupendous. Food was also delicious. Higly recommended!

Mama Lili and her family were so kind and caring. I was suffering from a migraine and did every thing they could to make me feel better.
The bungalows were clean and cozy. The beds were firm but comfortable. The veiw out the front door was breath taking. The shower was warm!
Lots of cute animals, ducks, chickens, cats and a tiny dog!
They served a variety of meals and they were all fantastic! Lots of fresh veggies, rice and meat on the menu.
They offer day trekking trips as well, sadly because of my migraine we were unable to do this activity. If you are looking for a guide Mama lili and her family are great company!
The price was more then affordable! We woukd love to come back again!
The only thing to note is it is difficult to get to and from town. Even though the homestay is only 5km from town the journey will take you over an hour due to the road conditions.
Our hosts organized a cab for us the day we were leaving but we were on the cabs timeline. If you are on a specific travel timeline to make buses or flights ensure you give your self enough time to get back.

Cette expérience a été incroyable, une de nos plus belles après un an de voyage !
Mama Lili et sa famille sont adorables. Les repas sont copieux et excellents, on se sent comme chez soi.
Si vous le souhaitez vous pouvez aussi partir en randonnée avec elle dans les villages et montagnes qui entourent la maison. Il y en a pour tous les niveaux et vous pouvez adapter les parcours selon vos envies ou besoins.
Les installations de la maison sont fonctionnelles et adaptées pour un homestay dans cette partie de Sapa. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut.
On ne peut que vous recommander chaudement de partager cette expérience avec Mama Lilli et sa famille. Merci encore pour tous ces bons moments.

What to say about Mama Lili and her family?!? They have been absolutely AMAZING! we met Mama Lili randomly in Sapa and we decided to go for a trekking with her in the valley. It was unbelievable! She was so kind and good to us, and when we discovered that she owned an homestay on the mountains 30 min from Sapa we decided to go and stay at her place for 2 nights.
The view from the homestay and the bungalows is insane! You can see all the valley and the magnificent mountains in front of you. Surrounded by nature, animals and peace.
Having dinner with the family was a nice experience that we never gonna forget. Talking and learning a lot about their Hmong culture.
Food was amazing and local, rice, eggs and vegetables from their garden.
Rooms are basic, but you have hot water and the bed is very comfortable.
We could never thank enough Mama Lili to take such good care of us. You will be in our hearts forever!

Mama Lili’s is a wonderful place to stay. It is out in the Muong Hoa Valley on a big hill, where they farm rice and vegetables and raise chickens and ducks. The community is part of Hau Thao (Black Hmong) village but outside of the village. The views are incredible and the weather can be epic. On a clear night, the stars are also incredible.
Mama Lili and Surelee are the sweetest hosts. The whole family is kind and welcoming. The food was excellent, and we learned a lot about Hmong culture in Northern Vietnam.
We went on a couple treks with Mama Lili through Hmong villages and ‘nature trails’. I cannot recommend enough.
Fuimos 6 amigas a Sa pa, nos quedamos una noche en mama lilis homestay, llegamos a las 6 am y no puso ningún tipo de problema en venir a recogernos a esa hora al centro de la ciudad, ya que la casa está un poco apartada de la ciudad en la montaña ( con las vistas más maravillosa

Fuimos 6 amigas a Sa pa, nos quedamos una noche en mama lilis homestay, llegamos a las 6 am y no puso ningún tipo de problema en venir a recogernos a esa hora al centro de la ciudad, ya que la casa está un poco apartada de la ciudad en la montaña ( con las vistas más maravillosas que he visto jamás a los arrozales). Nada más llegar, nos dió una pulsera a cada una y un gran abrazo con una sonrisa. Su home stay consta de 4 cabañas dobles con baños privados y su propia casa que es grande y tiene habitaciones también de hospedaje. Ella te da todas las comidas caseras, hechas por ella, buenísimas y no solo eso, sino que es super atenta con los gustos de cada uno.
Estuvimos 1 noche y dos días, hicimos dos rutas con ella maravillosas, nos enseño absolutamente todo, y nos trato con muchísimo cariño en todo momento. Es una maravilla que alguien de allí te enseñe los arrozales y los pueblos de las montañas.
Habla perfectamente inglés y se preocupa mucho por sus huéspedes. Un pedacito de mi se queda en Sa pa con ella, ha sido un placer conocerla tanto a ella como a su familia.
Recomiendo ropa de deporte y mochila en vez de maleta ya que hay mucho barro y la bajada a la casa puede ser un poco complicada.
